January 29, 2010 - The Economic Freedom of the World project invites submissions of scholarly papers
featuring innovative and interesting applications of the Economic Freedom of the World index. Papers may be technical or non-technical but must be well-written and intended for an international audience that includes policy makers and journalists as well as academics.
After an initial editorial review, selected submissions will be refereed by anonymous external reviewers before final acceptance for publication. Chosen papers will be published as one of up to three special chapters in the 2010 Economic Freedom of the World Annual Report. Small stipends will be awarded for accepted papers as well. March 7, 2008 - The Fraser Institute is pleased to present The Economic Freedom Map: Charting a Path to Prosperity, a set of six lesson plans designed to accompany the Economic Freedom of the World wall map. Together, the materials can be used to teach students about the principles of economic freedom ant its relation to global prosperity. It is intended for use in high school economics courses, as well as other courses to which economic reasoning may be applied.
